Winter Events
The growing season is always a busy time for gardeners and horticulturalists. But come late autumn, with cleaned spades back in hibernation, it is time to retreat indoors and take part in a series of talks, demonstrations, and perhaps a social gathering or two.
Past talks have been varied, with themes covering the importance of wildlife in the garden, practical tips on creating a wildflower patch, Gardeners’ Question Time, the Scottish Gardens Scheme, plant hunting in foreign climes, and much more. Demonstrations and workshops have included how to create bouquets, festive wreaths and table decorations using seasonal foliage and flowers. We also host the ever-popular Quiz Night and various other events.
All events are held in the East Church Hall, Banchory, at 7.30pm unless otherwise stated. Entry for members £2 and non-members £5.
